Version 2 adds:
| File Tree | In addition to the main map, you'll see a standard file tree view. Now you can clear space and manage files in one product. You'll also see the files too small to be seen on the map. |
| 32-bit | Full 32-bit Win app - more modern, consistent, easy interface and better multi-tasking. |
| Faster mapping | Improved algorithms provide for faster disk scanning and mapping. |
| Improved annotations | The map now shows more file names through the use of advanced tiling algorithms. You'll see more clearly which files to compress or delete. Configurable tool-tips show more information about each file. A special mark also shows how large a zoomed file would look on the unzoomed map. |
| Right Click Menu | Now supports full right click file management menus on both the map and the file tree. This makes working with files even more convenient. |
| Filter | Now provides a "filter" mode for most mapping methods. The filter allows you to see many more files meeting the selected mapping method - including very small files. |
| Searching | Now provides a quick and easy way to find files or subdirectories. The search shows results instantly as you type. Plus the results can be placed in a filter. |
| Mapping by size | You can now map only files exceeding a specified size so you can focus on the clearing files that consume the majority of your space. |
| File Classes | A new mapping method allows you to filter and view classes of files such as graphic files, database files, document files, etc. You can define your own groups. |
| File Duplicate Finder | Now includes the ability to find all your duplicate files. This provides another important way to save space. |
| File Advisor | Now offers an advisor that helps you decide whether a selected file can be deleted. You'll spend less time guessing as to the significance of each file. |
| Drag and drop | You can copy or move files within or between the map, tree or other applications simply by dragging with your mouse. |
| Clipboard operations | You can now cut, copy, and paste files - providing easier and more flexible file management. |
| Extension distribution | You can now see a list of extensions in order of how much space they consume on your drive - yet another angle to help you clear files you may not need. |
