First place your order to get your password. Then return to this page and follow the steps below carefully.

Existing users downloading a major (e.g. V1 to V2) upgrade
First place your order to get your password. Then return to this page and follow the steps below carefully. Your old data will be retained although it is smart to first backup your data.

Existing users downloading a minor (e.g. V2.17 to V2.18) upgrade, or
Existing users downloading to fix a bad download or CD, or
Existing users downloading to reinstall
Do not order again. Use your existing password. Follow the steps below carefully.
 

Version 2 of Info Select for Palm Organizer

  1. If you have data from a prior version, backup your data.
  2. If you have Info Select for Windows choose Help | About. If Info Select for Windows is earlier than version 7.00.31 update here. There is no charge for minor upgrades. For major upgrades order here.
  3. If you have not done so, order your Info Select for Palm password.
  4. Click here and select Open (or Run).
  5. After the download finishes the install program starts.
  6. Follow the install program instructions. After the installation finishes, the Palm Quick Install tool will start asking you to confirm installing InfoSelect.prc file to handheld. Click "OK" to confirm installing the file and close Palm Quick Install. You will see a warning that on the next Hotsync the InfoSelect.prc file will be installed. Click "OK" to confirm.
  7. Connect your Palm unit to PC and initiate the HotSync procedure. Wait for synchronization to finish.
  8. Disconnect Palm device from PC. Tap the Applications button. Tap the Info Select icon.
  9. If prompted for a password enter the password supplied when ordering.

Important: Users upgrading from Version 1 of Info Select for Palm Organizer - do not remove the existing version from the Palm organizer. Info Select for Palm Organizer 2 will automatically replace the previous version and retain your old data.

You are now ready to enter information!

To synchronize data with your PC see the Help.
Your initial password may be time-limited - a permanent password will be sent to you - look for it in your mail.
Write down your password on paper and store in a safe place - you will need it each time you reinstall. Do NOT store passwords to Info Select in Info Select.
